Electronic chipsets driving voice assistant

Usage of voice technology is increasing. From the smart home to the smartphone, there are numerous applications of this technology. Voice enabled apps are also becoming a prevalent part of our everyday lives. The international Consumer Electronics show held earlier this month showcased some amazing developments in voice technology. Synaptics has introduced its latest chips targeting electronic devices that can be controlled through voice commands, which enables electronic devices to run speech recognition without sending voice commands to the cloud for processing. This means Voice based applications can now work even when the device is only on intermittent internet connection. These chips can be integrated in voice based products like Alexa, Cortana, Siri.
